Covid-19 testing

As one of only 10 clinics in the whole of Sweden Gendoktorn will start issuing EU digital COVID certificate ( click here to read more) according to the guidelines set up by the Swedish eHealth Agency that has been in charge of developing the Swedish part of the ceritifcates. The certifcates will start to be issued from 2021-08-12. We was the first private clinic in Sweden to offer Covid-19 testing and have done so since February 2020.
We test both people with and without symptoms, all people are given a medical certificate of the result that can, for example, be used as a travel certificate.
At the time of writing (2020-12-03) a negative corona test if often required for travel, most commonly a PCR test.
Some countries also accept antigen tests for entry. For more information regardin please scroll down and read more.

RT-PCR:
Price: 1 650 SEK
Booking: Push "Book a time" in the bottom right corner. Choose the test you want to take and push "boka". Then you will be able to choose an available time and date that fits you.
Result: If you have been tested before 12:00 you will receive the result and certificate the same day before 20:00
If you have been tested after 12:00 you will receive the result and certificate the next day before 20:00.
If you do not have a Swedish personnummer or a digital mailbox you will have to come to our clinic the following day to pick up your certificate.
How testing is done: A swab/thin stick through the nose to the upper part of the pharynx
Express PCR:

Antigen (microfluidic immunofluorescence assay) LumiraDx SARS-CoV-2 Ag Test:
Info: 2021-07-09 an article was published in Läkartidningen, a journal run by the Swedish workers union for doctors, that showed that many antigen tests used in Sweden today can not accurately identify samples with Covid-19. The only test that had a 100% score was the test produced by Lumira DX that we was the first clinic in Sweden to use and have been using since november 2020.

Result: You will receive the result the same day as you did the test before 20:00. Without any extra cost.
If you do not have a Swedish personnummer or a digital mailbox you will have to come to our clinic the following day to pick up your certificate.
Would you choose to stay after testing we can tell you the result within 30min.
Please note that you will not receive a certificate within 30min. For that the rules above aply. We do not have the possibility to call and report the result.
How testing is done: If A swab/small testing stick will be inserted shallowly into each nostril.
We recommend this test if you want to know if you are ill and have had symptoms for at least 24 hours. The test is 97.6% accurate compared to lateral-flow antigen tests with a sensitivity between 70-80%.
